Chrissie ‘081

Last night the big man in red dropped by! And today we got to open what he left plus lots of pressies from my nanas and papa and pop.

Here’s me getting started.

This was my main pressie from the big guy: a pram! I put Mojo in it and we were both very happy. Maddie, your pyjamas are still a little long in the legs but I like to wear them this way.

Here’s Will with a penguin puppet!

Later we went to the Hyatt for a flash Chrissie lunch. Mummy had an emergency coffee before we had lunch because last night I was up a few times and so was Will! We wanted to catch Santa coming by. I told Will to just try to cry a lot and I just woke up and pretended I wanted milk. But we didn’t see him.

Here’s my baby brother Will and his rattle.

Here’s me and Tenzin. Tenzin’s Mama says she has lots of photos of him kissing girls like me! I better watch out!

Here’s my Dad and Will. Doesn’t he look like a little boy now?

Will, Tenzin and I posed for a photo taken by my Dad. I don’t know how he managed to get all three of us in the shot. We try to avoid photos like this usually. Well done!

And this is how I look when I don’t nap: slightly crazed and a bit scary.

Balloons and books!0

For my 2nd birthday we threw a balloons and books party.

Here I am, for starters.

We blew up lots of balloons, including a whole stack that said “Our Wedding” from the local supermarket because the ones that Mummy bought in Singapore were a pile of rubbish. Then all of my friends brought along a book each to swap at the party, instead of a present. We did a little pass-the-parcel to see who got what. It started out calmly.

And then:

Ibu Lucy did a great job painting everyone’s faces. Here’s Tenzin getting a tiger:

Here is Megan decorating a chocolate cupcake:

And here is Tenzin giving my baby brother Will a cuddle:

And here’s Will trying to get away from the girls:

Finally, a moment to himself:

Here’s me and my cake. Do you think I look two yet?

And here are my friends and me and my cake. I do look two, don’t I?

My friend Dinda came over in the afternoon after the party. She has to go to something called school earlier in the day, which means she doesn’t have as much time for parties as I do.
