A morning stroll with Daddy

So, this morning I decided to wake nice and early — around 5.20am to be precise. I stretched and wailed a little … just enough to wake Ma and Pa, or well, not really wake them, rather rouse them into a semi-zombie like state so that Daddy decided to take me down to the beach for sunrise.

Once I heard him get out of the shower and grumble that he was going to come get me out of bed, I went back to sleep! What a trickster I am!

I let Daddy sleep till around 7.30am before I got him up again and this time we were going for a walk — no getting out of it this time!

So here I am in our very narrow (that’s another story) laneway, ready to hit the beach.

Getting ready to go

Around 15 minutes later, Daddy and I were safe and sound in the closest WiFi cafe to our home, which just happens to be beachfront, Sanur. While Dad had a latte (yes, he’s an Obama voter) I just chilled out and looked beautiful.

Yes, I’m gorgeous

Once we were done there, we cruised along the beach boardwalk for a kilometre or so admiring the blue skies, white sands, and leathery Euro tourists then cut back inland to Batujimbar Cafe, where Daddy had another latte and ordered me a fruit salad with yoghurt and honey.

The fruit salad was pretty tasty, but I was more than content just looking beautiful … what do you think of my curls — pretty lovely huh?

After the cafe I got tired and grumpy and none of the pics Dad took are fit to be printed, but I thought I’d finish with this one — for all those who think Daddy is looking at Bali through rose-tinted glasses… Bali is soooo cool!

Rose coloured glasses - not!

Love you all and see you all soon.

PS we have baby frogs in our pool and if you come and stay I’ll catch some for you.

Kisses
