I grew up with Mr Men books –Mr Smiley, Mr Grumpy, My Noisy, Mr Nerdy, Mr Beer, Mr Martini, Mr Techy, Mr Hermit, Mr Unshaven… Oh wait those last few are ones I’m planning on writing…
Anyways, one of the things that really stayed with me are the undulating Mr Men hills, clear blue skies and puffy clouds…
So I decided that I’d paint the babyroom in the same style…what more could a baby want!
OK those of you screaming in horror and lurching for the phone to get me to stop can relax…
S has informed me in no uncertain terms, that if painted at all the room will score just a light pastel hue.
Oh well I’m not too fussed, it just means me and the boy will be able to paint the room to a Battlestar Galactica theme in a few years time — that should be much more fun…
I love the idea of a Mr Men Happyland room.
It would be much more fun than pastel S! And remember when pastel is appropriate, baby is a blob, and when Happyland is appropriate baby will love it for years and all his/her friends would be jealous and love to come and play in happyland!
