So what does one do when pregnant and living in Jakarta?
One goes and gets scanned!
So today we had another scan at our favourite baby-photographer and we’re happy to say the baby is cooking along nicely. No great pics to show you though as the baby was a little on the shy side, with his little fists held up hiding his face — maybe he’ll be a boxer!
The doctor also did one of those semi-creepy 3D scans, where everything goes sepia (this was the first time I’d seen one) and it was just amazing — we could clearly make out baby’s lips and even the fingers. Back with the normal scan we measured the baby’s belly — I thought it was his head it was so big and round.
All very exciting.
Afterwards we went off for a culinary sensation at good old Tony Romas where the meal came with so many extra doses of fat I left feeling about as big and round as baby’s belly.
