Stop burping so I can say hello to the baby

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the quickening is here and while I’m yet to be able to feel the baby’s movements, S well and truly can.

It’s a bit unfair that S can feel it and I can’t — it’s not like I’m not trying… I spend ages every day with S laying there with by palm on her belly feeling for baby tremours, but all I’m ever able to hear is S tremours — farting, burping, tummy bubbling — all these rumblings and noises makes her body seem like a little factory, working away cooking up a little person.

By the way, this is the 100th post on our OneBabyBlog — I hope you’ve found it as enjoyable read as it’s been fun to write!
