This having a baby thing has been a bit catalyst for new ideas and schemes related to travel and children (aside from me having a new person to send to look at guesthouses!)
One of my ideas yesterday was a childcare spot particularly aimed at travellers… More and more independent travellers are hitting the road, rugrats in tow and I bet a lot of them could really do with a holiday from a holiday now and then…so that’s where our “baby traveller cafe” comes in.
Parents could drop them off for a day and we’d furnish them with stuff to keep the rugrats occupied while the parents could run off for a little person free day at the local spa, pub, rock-climbing centre.
I guess those travelling at mid to upper range resorts can already avail themselves to services provided by the hotel/resort, but what about those on a not so glamourous budget? I bet they’d leap at the chance for such a service.
I guess we could call it “The babyfish cafe“…
